Maple Moments: A Simple Sheet Pan Pancake
(Easter Edition š£)
Thereās something about maple that feels like home.
Maybe itās the warmth.Maybe itās the simplicity.Maybe itās that quiet reminder that the best things donāt need to be complicated.
This week, I wanted to create something that brings together:ā simplicityā affordabilityā comfortā and just a touch of Easter joy
So this became our Maple Sheet Pan PancakeĀ ā easy, cozy, and perfect for sharing.
š„ Why Sheet Pan Pancakes?
Because mornings donāt need to be chaotic.
Instead of standing at the stove flipping pancakes, you:ā pourā bakeā sliceā serve
One pan.One bake.Everyone eats together.
š Maple Sheet Pan Pancake
š§ŗ Ingredients
1½ cups flour
1¼ cups buttermilk
1 egg
¼ cup oil
¼ cup sugar
1 heaping tsp baking powder
1 level tsp baking soda
Optional Pantry Planner Add-Ins:
š Maple syrup (for serving or swirl)
š Frozen or fresh berries
š Banana slices
š A Spice Affair Apple Spice (for a warm twist)
š©āš³ Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Place a greased 9 x 13 panĀ in the oven while it heats.
In a bowl, mix all ingredients until just combined (do not overmix).
Carefully pour batter into the hot pan.
Add toppings if desired.
Bake for 12ā15 minutes, until golden and set.
Let cool slightly, slice into squares.
š The Maple Moment
This is where it becomes more than just breakfast.
Warm your maple syrup slightly before serving.
Drizzle generously.
Because maple isnāt just a topping ā itās the moment.
š£ Easter Twist (Simple & Joyful)
This recipe turns into a beautiful Easter breakfast with just a few touches:
⨠Ideas to Make It Special:
Use a cookie cutter to make bunny or egg shapes
Dust lightly with powdered sugar
Add pastel berries (strawberries, blueberries)
Serve with yogurt on the side
Let kids decorate their own square

No stress. No perfection. Just fun.

š Why This Matters
Not every moment needs to be big to be meaningful.
Sometimes itās:
sitting at the table
sharing something warm
slowing down for a few minutes
Thatās where connection happens.
Final Thought
Maple reminds us that simple can still be special.
And in a busy, sometimes overwhelming lifeā¦
That might be exactly what we need.
⨠Stirring up goodness,
