Maple Moments: A Simple Sheet Pan Pancake

(Easter Edition 🐣)

There’s something about maple that feels like home.

Maybe it’s the warmth.Maybe it’s the simplicity.Maybe it’s that quiet reminder that the best things don’t need to be complicated.

This week, I wanted to create something that brings together:āœ” simplicityāœ” affordabilityāœ” comfortāœ” and just a touch of Easter joy

So this became our Maple Sheet Pan Pancake — easy, cozy, and perfect for sharing.

šŸ„ž Why Sheet Pan Pancakes?

Because mornings don’t need to be chaotic.

Instead of standing at the stove flipping pancakes, you:āœ” pourāœ” bakeāœ” sliceāœ” serve

One pan.One bake.Everyone eats together.

šŸ Maple Sheet Pan Pancake

🧺 Ingredients

  • 1½ cups flour

  • 1¼ cups buttermilk

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ cup oil

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 heaping tsp baking powder

  • 1 level tsp baking soda

Optional Pantry Planner Add-Ins:

  • šŸ Maple syrup (for serving or swirl)

  • šŸ“ Frozen or fresh berries

  • šŸŒ Banana slices

  • šŸŽ A Spice Affair Apple Spice (for a warm twist)

šŸ‘©ā€šŸ³ Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Place a greased 9 x 13 panĀ in the oven while it heats.

  3. In a bowl, mix all ingredients until just combined (do not overmix).

  4. Carefully pour batter into the hot pan.

  5. Add toppings if desired.

  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and set.

  7. Let cool slightly, slice into squares.

šŸ The Maple Moment

This is where it becomes more than just breakfast.

Warm your maple syrup slightly before serving.

Drizzle generously.

Because maple isn’t just a topping — it’s the moment.

🐣 Easter Twist (Simple & Joyful)

This recipe turns into a beautiful Easter breakfast with just a few touches:

✨ Ideas to Make It Special:

  • Use a cookie cutter to make bunny or egg shapes

  • Dust lightly with powdered sugar

  • Add pastel berries (strawberries, blueberries)

  • Serve with yogurt on the side

  • Let kids decorate their own square

No stress. No perfection. Just fun.

šŸ’› Why This Matters

Not every moment needs to be big to be meaningful.

Sometimes it’s:

  • sitting at the table

  • sharing something warm

  • slowing down for a few minutes

That’s where connection happens.

Final Thought

Maple reminds us that simple can still be special.

And in a busy, sometimes overwhelming life…

That might be exactly what we need.

✨ Stirring up goodness,
